What About Dust? Can You Really Blast Without Choking?

The booth has a sealed envelope – made of wear‑resistant material. You connect it to a dust collector (sold separately, but we can supply one).

Can I Use My Existing Blasting Machine With This Booth?
Yes. The booth is just the enclosure.
You can connect:
- A small portable sandblasting machine
- A large continuous blasting system
- A dry ice blasting machine (for heat‑sensitive surfaces)
- Any blasting setup with a nozzle and hose
The booth has one or two inlet ports for hoses. You put your gun(s) inside, close the port, and blast.
So you don’t need to buy a new blasting unit. Just the shot blast booth and a dust collector.
How Fast Can I Set It Up? Do I Need A Crane?
The booth comes in a modular frame.
For the smaller sizes (6×6×5 m), two people can assemble it in half a day. No crane. The fabric panels zip onto the frame.
For the larger sizes (15×8×6 m and up), you may need a forklift or a small crane to lift the steel beams. But we provide a detailed assembly manual and video.
Most customers do it themselves. If you want, we can send an engineer – $100/day + travel.
Breaking down and moving:
Fold the frame, roll up the fabric, and pack it into a 20ft or 40ft container. The whole container sandblasting room fits in one container (except the largest model). That’s why it’s called container‑type – it ships in a container, not that it is a container.
What Questions Should You Ask Before Buying A Shot Blast Booth?
Ask yourself (or ask us) these three:
- What is the largest workpiece I will blast?
Measure its length, width, and height. Then add 1 metre on each side for walking and swinging the gun. That’s the minimum booth size. - Do I have a dust collector already?
If not, we’ll recommend one (matching the booth volume and your blasting flow). You need it to make the booth truly dust‑free. - Will I move it often or leave it in one place?
If you move weekly, choose a smaller size. If you set up for a long project, go big.
