You have rusted steel plates. Or castings covered in sand. Or welded parts full of burrs. Cleaning them by hand with a grinder is slow, dusty, and your workers get tired. Is there a faster way? Yes – an industrial shot blasting machine. Think of it like a powerful sandblaster, but instead of sand, it shoots tiny steel balls (shot) at high speed. The shot hits the metal surface, blasts off rust, scale, and dirt, and leaves a clean, slightly rough surface ready for painting or welding. One machine can do the work of ten people with grinders.
YG makes seven models of roller‑conveyor type industrial shot blasting equipment. The smallest cleans parts up to 800mm wide. The largest cleaning parts up to 4000mm wide (that is 4 meters). You can feed in steel sheets from 1.5mm thick up to 110mm thick. The conveyor speed is adjustable from 0.5 to 4 meters per minute – faster for light cleaning, slower for heavy rust. The machine recycles the steel shot, so you do not waste it. It also has a dust collector that keeps the air clean.

Four Types Of Industrial Shot Blasting Equipment – Which One Do You Need?
YG makes four types for different shapes of workpieces. Here is the simple guide.
| Pass-through | Small, flat parts that you can lay on a roller | Hardware pieces, small castings, brackets |
| Roller conveyor | Large plates, long beams, heavy steel sheets (the seven models above are this type) | Ship hull plates, bridge steel, tank plates |
| Hanger type | Irregular shapes, heavy parts that you hang from a hook | Engine blocks, pump housings, large castings |
| Steel-specific type | Structural steel like H-beams, channels, angles | Structural steel, like H-beams, channels, angles |
If you are not sure which type you need, ask yourself:
- Is your part flat like a plate? → Roller conveyor.
- Is your part small and simple? → Pass-through.
- Is your part an odd shape that cannot lie flat? → Hanger type.
- Is your part a steel beam or channel? → Steel-specific type.

How Does An Industrial Shot Blasting Machine Work?
Step 1 – Load your part. Put your rusty steel plate or casting onto the infeed end of the roller conveyor.
Step 2 – The part moves into the blasting chamber. The rollers carry it forward. You set the speed – faster for light rust, slower for heavy rust.
Step 3 – Steel shot blasts the surface. Inside the chamber, a high-speed wheel throws steel shot at the part. The shot hits hard, knocking off rust, scale, sand, and burrs. It is like thousands of tiny hammers.
Step 4 – The shot is collected and reused. The shot falls, gets scooped up by a bucket elevator, and goes back into the wheel to be used again. Over 98% of the shot is reused – you do not waste much.
Step 5 – Dust is sucked away. A powerful dust collector pulls dust and fine particles out of the chamber. The air that comes out is clean enough for industrial standards. Your workers are not breathing dust.
Step 6 – The clean part comes out the other end. The part exits the machine with a uniform, clean surface – ready for painting, coating, or welding.
The whole process is automatic. Once you set the speed, the machine runs by itself.
Why Buy A YG Industrial Shot Blasting Equipment?
Here are the real benefits – no marketing fluff.
1. Much faster than grinding. Shot blasting speed is 80‑120 meters per second. One machine can do the work of 10 people with angle grinders. Your labor cost drops.
2. Consistent quality. Grinding leaves some spots missed and others overground. Shot blasting gives you an even finish every time. Your paint or coating will stick better.
3. Saves money on short media. The machine recycles over 98% of the steel shot. You are not constantly buying new shots.
4. Cleaner workplace. The dust collector removes over 99.5% of dust. No more dust clouds. Your workers will thank you.
5. Built to last. The blasting wheels are made of high‑chromium wear‑resistant steel, heat‑treated. They last over 8,000 hours. The whole machine can run for 10+ years.
6. Easy to control. A simple LCD screen shows you the speed, shot flow, and other settings. You can save your settings for different part types and recall them with one button.
7. YG can customize. If your parts are a special size or shape, YG will adjust the feed opening, number of blasting wheels, or conveyor design to fit your needs.
Is An Industrial Shot Blasting Machine Worth It?
If you clean metal parts regularly – even just once a week – an industrial shot blasting equipment will pay for itself in labor savings. One machine replaces multiple grinders. It works faster, gives a better finish, and keeps your shop cleaner. YG offers seven roller conveyor models from 800mm to 4000mm cleaning width. You can process steel sheets from 1.5mm thick up to 110mm thick, and parts up to 18 meters long. The machine recycles steel shot, collects dust, and runs automatically.
If your parts are not flat plates, YG also makes pass‑through, hanger, and steel‑specific types. Contact YG Machinery directly with your part dimensions and material. They will help you choose the right model, provide foundation drawings, and give you a quote. For two or more machines, ask about the 8.5‑9.5% discount.
