How Does An Egg Tray Production Machine Work?
Step 1: Pulp making
Waste paper goes into a pulper with water (1:10 ratio). It becomes a slurry.
Add pigments, waterproofing agents, or dyes in the mixing tank.
The pulp is pumped to the forming tank, diluted to 3–5% consistency.
Step 2: Forming
A vacuum pump sucks pulp onto the forming mould. Water drains through the mesh. The wet tray takes shape.
Compressed air blows the formed tray onto a transfer mould, then onto a conveyor or tray.
Step 3: Drying
Wet trays travel through a dryer (180–220°C) for 15–25 minutes.
They come out dry, rigid, and ready for stacking and packing.
The whole process is continuous. Feed paper in one end, get trays out the other.
